Disability Training
The greatest impact of our training is that it is delivered by disabled people who live the life and are the best people on the subject of disability-linked issues. Our team of accredited trainers deliver high quality courses to a variety of voluntary, public and private/commercial sectors.
Programme outline:
- Introduction
- What is disability - Hidden or visible?
- Communication skills
- Understanding Access Issues
- Raising Sensory loss awareness
- The DDA (1994)
We run bespoke training sessions that can be tailored to the needs of the client and can vary from a full to half day session. Max number(s) for our course are 20 people. We will either come to an accessible venue of your choice or you can come to our onsite training room. We also have our own half day Disability Awareness training sessions that run throughout the year please see the dates below.

All these courses run from 10.00-13.00 with Prices at £67 per person. (please ask for consessions)

Attending one of our training courses will not only give you a huge amount of understanding towards disabled people it will also make you aware of your responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act (2005) and how you can make reasonable adjustment to satisfy the acts recommendations and create an inclusive service.
