Disability Access
We specialise in identifying barriers to access whether that’s in a retail, factory, public service environment. We develop practical solutions that can ensure your premises, employees and customer service provide an exceptional experience.
All our Auditors are fully trained with deep, extensive experience and will often have a disability themselves which provides unique insights and better solutions. They work through a carefully designed process that is tried and tested. Following a comprehensive on-site audit visit, you will receive a detailed written report giving access advice including clear, practical recommendations for improvements to ensure you comply as reasonably as possible with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. In addition, you are also provided with a range of supplementary recommendations including a guide to accessible signage and other useful information.
There are three types of Audits:
- Full Initial Access Audit, DDA compliance audit with management report
- An annual follow up Audit to monitor on going compliance
- Walk and Talk Audit which is only suitable for volunteer organisations such as village halls. We will email any recommendations that we identify at the visit
We also offer a service of auditing building plans which many clients have found useful before construction begins to ensure awareness of accessibility is built into the fabric of the building before costly work begins.
